1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice applies to the audioglyph.io platform, operated by Audioglyph.io("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here, which means we decide how and why your data is processed.

2. Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login credentials): to create and secure your account.
• Profile and content data (artist profile, photos, music metadata, notes, contacts, smart links, pages you build): to provide the service and publish the pages you choose to make public.
• Support messages: to respond to your requests.
• Usage and device data (IP address, device identifiers, telemetry): for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.

Payment information is collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, not by us; please see Paddle's own privacy policy for that processing.

3. Legal basis

We process account, profile, and content data to perform our contract with you. We process usage and device data based on our legitimate interests in security and improving the service. Where required, we rely on your consent (for example, optional marketing), and on legal obligations where applicable.

4. Who we share data with

• Service providers that host and operate the platform (cloud hosting, database, storage, analytics, support tooling), bound by data processing terms;
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing;
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed;
• Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, contact us through the app or at audioglyph.io; we respond within one month where the law requires. Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row level data isolation, to protect your personal data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and storage required for sign in and core functionality, and may use analytics storage to understand product usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent sign in.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
